Funeral Mission
February 21 & 22, 2018
Sioux Falls, SD

The family of Robert J. Kielman has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to be present at his services with a flag line honoring him and showing our appreciation for his service to his and our country.   Robert enlisted in the United States Navy serving during World War II. He was involved in Operation Crossroads which was involved in the testing of the Atomic Bomb in the South Pacific on Bikini Island.

Mass of Christian Burial Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Sioux Falls.  Visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m., Liturgical Wake Service, Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at George Boom Funeral Home & Crematory.  Visitation will be a “flags only” flag line from 5 to 7 p.m.

Stage: 8:30 a.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 523 N. Duluth Ave., Sioux Falls, SD.  There is very little area that flags can be placed because all of the hard surface at the front of the Cathedral so I am hoping for some member assistance from anyone that may be able to attend.  Burial will be immediately following the service at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Flags will be provided.
