The Husband of Yvette Eye Benitez has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to honor his wife with a flag line in appreciation and respect for the service she gave to her country. She was just 27, formerly of Missouri and currently serving with the United States Navy in Sioux Falls. Yvette died Friday, January 5, 2018, at Ava’s House Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the mother of two young children.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018, at St. Lambert Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. Military Honors will follow the service at the church. Visitation with family present to greet friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m., Liturgical Wake Service, Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at George Boom Funeral Home & Crematory, Sioux Falls. Visitation will be “FLAGS ONLY”. However, any PGR members wishing to stop by for visitation to show your respect, I’m sure that would be much appreciated. Burial will be at a later date in Missouri.
