Graveside/Military Honors

   The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Chester “Chet” Burdette Thompson Jr. to show our appreciation and respect to “Chet” with a flag line in honor of his service to his and our great country.  Chet enlisted in the United States Army in 1968.  He served in Vietnam until his honorable discharge in 1970.

The funeral service will be 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls with burial at Hills of Rest Cemetery in Sioux Falls.  His family will be present to greet friends for visitation on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Visitation and the Funeral Service will be “Flags Only”.

Stage: 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 13 at Hills of Rest Cemetery, 3408 E. 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD.  Enter the cemetery through the gate in the rear parking lot at George Boom Funeral Home.

Flags will be provided.
