The Patriot Guard Riders will place flags for Alexander Lorang, who passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017, as the result of an automobile accident. This honor will be to fulfill the wishes of his parents and to show our respect for Alex’s dedication to the Marine Corps JROTC, where he served as a Major while attending Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls. Alex was enlisted in the Air Force in 2016, according to him in the Lincoln Statesman, the school’s newspaper. The article was written after he had performed in his 100th Color Guard with the Marine Corps JROTC.
Visitation is Sunday, November 26th, from 2PM – 6PM at East Side Lutheran Church. Flags will be placed as a “flags only” honor for visitation. Funeral services will be 10:30AM, Monday, November 27, 2017, at East Side Lutheran Church, 1300 E. 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD. Burial will be following the funeral service at Hills of Rest Cemetery.
