“Flags Only”/Memorial Service

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of David J. Bond to show our appreciation and respect to David, in honor of his service to his and our great Nation. Dave served in the United States Navy as a Torpedoman’s Mate from 1965 to 1969. During that time he was stationed in Pearl Harbor for 2½ years and received his honorable discharge in ’69 having completed his service to his country. Dave belonged to the Renner American Legion Post 307, and proudly served as Commander for 17 years.
David’s memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026 at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. Visitation with the family present will take place one hour prior to his service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Lennox Cemetery at a later date.
