The family of Dr. Quentin G. Oleson has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Dr. Oleson with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to his Nation. He was inducted into the U.S. Army in 1943 serving at Ft. Bliss, TX, and in Calcutta, India and was discharged in 1946.
The funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, July 8 at George Boom Funeral Home & Crematory, Sioux Falls, with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Scotland, SD. Visitation begins at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 7 at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Flags will be posted by 2:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home on Sunday.
Stage: 8:30 AM, Monday, July 8, 2019 at George Boom Funeral Home, 3408 E. 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD. Burial will be following the lunch at the funeral home with arrival time of 1:15 PM at the cemetery in Scotland, SD. Dave Abbott will be the Ride Captain for the interment at Rose Hill Cemetery. The cemetery is on the North edge of Scotland along Hwy25.
Flags will be provided at both locations.
