The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to participate in the Memorial Service for Veteran Kenneth Angel, 71, United States Army, on SATURDAY, JUNE 1, 2019  at the Spencer Community Hall, Spencer. NEBRASKA.

.

Veteran Kenneth D. Angel, aged 71, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019, after the Spencer Dam and levee broke.  Ken was born December 1, 1947, in O’Neill, Nebraska. He attended school in Spencer, Nebraska, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-1970.  He met his future wife Linda in October 1979, and they spent 40 wonderful years together before his untimely passing. 

STAGE DATE:                   SATURDAY, JUNE 1ST, 2019

STAGE LOCATION:           Spencer Community Hall, W, Main St, Spencer, Nebraska.

STAGE TIME:                   1:00PM

RIDERS MEETING:            1:20PM

FLAG LINE:                      1:30PM

CEREMONY:                    2:00PM

PGR ESCORT:                   3:00PM to Cemetery (Time estimate. Will follow Memorial service)

-Military Honors at Saint Mary’s Cemetery provided by American Legion Post 78

-A reception will begin at 4:00 p.m. after the memorial services at Community Hall, W. Main St, Spencer, Nebraska.

Safety being paramount – ride only if conditions permit. The Nebraska Patriot Guard Riders have been recognized by the National Safety Council and the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety for adhering to and promoting motorcycle safety. Ride Alert – Ride Safe.

RIDERS ADVISORY: The two Bridges closest to Spencer that are open are through Newport or Niobrara. As of this moment, 5-30-19 11am, the Highway 11 Bridge South of Butte is still closed and Highway 281 is closed.  – Roger Imler, Albion, NE
