Alyssa, Director of the Canteen at the SF VA Hospital, is looking for volunteers to help on Wednesday, March 14, 2010. They are hosting a St. Patrick’s Day meal for the patients at the hospital. The patients will be escorted from their rooms to the Canteen on 2nd Floor, go through the cafeteria line, and be able to eat their meal and socialize in the Canteen.
If you are interested in helping escort the patients and help them go through the line, please be at the Canteen, which is on the 2nd Floor of the VA Hospital, between 4:30 – 4:45. They will start serving at 5:00 pm.
This is not a mission, just a volunteer opportunity.
