Pierre Soldiers to return home from deployment.
They will fly into Rapid City Regional Airport

There is a change to this mission there will be some soldiers coming at the schedule time then we will have 6 more at a later time. See changes below. For those that said they would be there for the original mission please show up and anybody that can assist with part 2 please be there.
PIERRE, S.D. – A welcome home ceremony for 15 Soldiers with the South Dakota Army National Guard’s 200th Engineer Company is scheduled for Saturday, May 19, at 5 p.m. at the T.F Riggs High School Theater in Pierre.
The public is encouraged to attend the event as members with the Pierre, Chamberlain and Mobridge-based unit return from a nine month deployment to Syria.
Planned speakers for the ceremony include Gov. Dennis Daugaard, Pierre Mayor Steve Harding and Maj. Gen. Tim Reisch, SDNG adjutant general.
While deployed, the 200th Soldiers deployed as a bridge training team, where they emplaced and repaired bridges throughout the region to ensure freedom of movement for U.S. military and coalition forces.
The Soldiers returned stateside to Fort Bliss, Texas, May 11, where they have been completing demobilization requirements before to returning back to South Dakota.

If you wish to escort them to Pierre make sure you are ready to go. There may not be flags provided at Pierre so have your own flag just in case.
