The family of Donald J. “Don” Brownell has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to post a flag line at Don’s services in honor, respect and appreciation for his service to his and our great Nation. Don served in the U.S. Navy and is the father of Rick Brownell, our Patriot Guard Ride Captain in Watertown.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church. Military honors will be conducted by Codington County Post #17 of the American Legion, Watertown, and the Military Funeral Honors Team of the U.S. Navy, following the services at the church. Visitation will be at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. and prior to the services at the church on Thursday. Flags will be placed at the funeral home on Wednesday, Dec. 26th by 3:00 p.m. and will be a “flags only” flag line.
Stage: 9:00 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church, 202 2nd Street Southeast, Watertown, SD.
Please remember to dress for your comfort with the morning temps that we are having this time of the year and know that your safety comes first if you need to step off line to warm up.
Flags will be provided.
