Funeral Mission

The family of Curtis Allen Berg has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Curtis with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to his community, State and Nation. Curtis joined the Army National Guard in 1957 when he was 17 and was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard in 1961. He was employed by the Watertown Police Department for nine years and then served as Sheriff of Codington County for 10 years. Jim Lentsch, our SDPGR State Captain worked for Curtis as a deputy for five years and will be the Ride Captain for this mission.
Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown. “The Last Radio Call” will be conducted by the Watertown Police Honor Guard.
Stage: 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church, 309 2nd Ave. SE, Watertown, SD. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Watertown following Mass.
Flags will be provided.
