Also, Ed Andersh will have flags and be in a pickup going up to Spearfish so he will have room for 3, he has asked just to call him at 605-209-7632 if you would like a ride.
Let’s Welcome home the members of the 842nd
Mission, Part 1 will be Welcoming home the members of the 842nd at the Guard Hanger at Rapid City Regional Airport. If we’re able to get to the flightline side, we’ll be welcoming them with a flagline. If not, we’ll have the flagline set as they exit the building.
Due to ongoing road construction, we will not provide escort to Spearfish.
There will be a community picnic from noon-1400 in Spearfish on the BHSU Football Field. Everyone is invited.
At 1400 we’ll set-up a flagline for the demobilization ceremony at 1430. The flagline will also be present following the ceremony.
At 1600, a parade is scheduled to start. Parade route will be Spearfish through Belle Fourche, St Onge, Whitewood and ending in Sturgis.
