EVENT
Deployment Activation Ceremony
January 5th, 2022
Rapid City, SD

1.  South Dakota Army National Guard 235th Military Police Company is being activated for a year long deployment to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Patriot Guard Riders and American Legion Riders have been asked to stand a flag line just before and during the activation ceremony.

 
2.  Mission details are:
 
Wednesday, 5 January 2022
9:15 AM – Staging time
Staging location: Parking lot on west side of Monument Center (formerly called Civic Center), Rapid City.
 
9:30 AM – Set up flag line inside Monument Fine Arts Center
10:00 AM – Ceremony starts
11:00 AM (estimated) Dismissal when ceremony has finished
 
3.  Flags will be provided.
