Memorial Mission

  The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Vincent “Vince” Myhre to show our appreciation and respect to “Vince” with a flag line in honor of his service to his and our great country.  Vince was proud of his service in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He served from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1974.

Memorial visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at West Nidaros Lutheran Church, rural Crooks. Memorial services will begin at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 17, 2021, at West Nidaros Lutheran Church, rural Crooks. Interment will be in the South Dakota State Veterans Cemetery.  Both visitation and the Memorial Service will be “Flags Only”.

The Patriot Guard Riders participation will be an escort from the church to the State Veterans Cemetery following a lunch at the church.

   Stage: 11:45 AM, Thursday, June 17th, 2021 at the West Nidaros Lutheran Church, rural Crooks.  The escort Ride Captain will be Paul Fiskum.  There is no direct route to this church from interstate 29 or 90 so be sure to find your route before you leave.
   Because of the very warm temps cold water will be provided.  It will very important to remain well hydrated.
