   The family of Kevin “Pappy” Albert Muilenburg has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor “Pappy” with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation.  “Pappy” served at two different stages of his life.  Following graduation from High School, he enlisted with the United States Army in 1969, and served in Vietnam in 1970 and 1971, before being honorably discharged in 1972.  Then later on in his life he entered into service with the Army National Guard in 1989, and served in Iraq in 2003 and 2004 and was honorably discharged in 2005.

The family will be present from 11 to 1 pm with a funeral service at 1 pm on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Avenue with interment at the South Dakota State Veteran’s Cemetery at a future date.

Due to the late notice this will be a “Flags Only” flag line honoring Pappy Muilenburg.
