“Flags Only”Memorial Service

The family of Curtis Jay Walkins has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Curtis with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation. Curtis enlisted in the United States Navy in September 1989. He received an engineering degree from the United States Naval Academy. Curtis continued to serve in the United States Navy until retiring as Lieutenant Commander in June of 2013.
Visitation with the family present will be from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at George Boom Funeral Home. Burial and Military Honors will be at the Veterans Cemetery in the afternoon following the Memorial Service
