Funeral Mission
September 17, 2016
Sioux Falls, SD

   The family of Melvin H. Lewis has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand flag line in honor of his life and to show our respect and appreciation for his service to his and our country.  Melvin served 3 years during WWII in the Army Signal Corps in New Caledonia, the Philippines and Japan, until the war ended. Melvin’s funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 2001 S. Elmwood Ave., Sioux Falls, SD, with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.

   Stage time will be Saturday, 8:30am, September 17, 2016 at the church.  We will place the flags and there will be a short briefing before we start the flag line.  Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery following the lunch which will be immediately after the funeral service.
